What forms of payment do you accept?

Where will my vehicle be picked up and delivered to?

When possible we will pick up and deliver as close to your residence as our large trucks will allow. Alternative meeting areas would be large parking lots like the supermarket or mall.

What will it cost to ship my car?

Is my vehicle insured while in Preferred Auto Carriers care?

We do carry cargo insurance on your vehicle. In the event that damage occurs during shipping, and it is transport damage,  contact your shipping adviser immediately. The damage must be noted on your bill of lading. While we take care of your vehicle as if it were our own, on rare occasion, should something unforeseen happen, we carry cargo insurance on your vehicle.

Can I pack personal items in my vehicle?

This is typically not allowed. Clothing and light weight items can be permitted please consult your shipping adviser.

How long will it take once you have my car?

The typical North to South bound freight and visa-versa takes three and one half days. Of course this will be determined by distance, weather, time of year, any mechanical problems and general travel delays.

How much notice do you need to ship my vehicle?

Notify us as soon as possible. Each transportation situation is different and it is our goal here at Preferred Auto Carriers to cater to your individual needs. Generally we need a 7 to 10 day advance notice. If you have a special situation let us know what we can do to accommodate you.
